Sponsorship of ARZ
Aussie Rules Zimbabwe is currently seeking sponsorship in order to successfully establish ourselves and effectively implement our organisation's aims.
The sponsorship of Australian Football in Zimbabwe is an exciting prospect and gives potential sponsors a highly visible and unique way to gain publicity, while also making a positive difference.
Sponsors will be entitled to have their logo on the national team's singlets and footballs, as well as on the ARZ website and on all letterheads and promotional material including hats, t-shirts and also printed media statements.
ARZ is intent on making a long-term sustainable difference to the lives of children living in orphanages, and on the streets, and we also intend to have a special 'Football Cares' program for HIV+ children and those whose lives have been affected by AIDS, to empower them and live their lives to their full potential. These children will be provided with regular visits by a qualified nurse to monitor their health and give any other advice that is required, eg - nutrition. This will be combined with regular participation in Aussie Rules, and will lead to many of these children not only living much healthier lifestyles, but also having something to constantly look forward to.
Children and adolescents living in orphanages and on the streets will also be included in the ARZ plans, including having field trips to other sporting grounds to take part in skills clinics and games. They will also not be disadvantaged in any way once games are played, as they will be placed into teams through the same process as all other participants, and will also be given the same opportunities to represent Zimbabwe against South Africa.
